Certain mould compounds in blue cheese can cause vomiting, diarrhoea, raised body temperature, tremors or seizures in susceptible dogs. The cheese is also usually high in fat and salt.

What now?

Call a veterinarian for more than a tiny taste, an unknown amount or any sign. For tremors, seizures, marked lethargy or overheating, contact an emergency clinic immediately.
